Pillow Talk
In 2007 I was earning my Masters degree at Rinehart School of Sculpture at MICA, and was living in Baltimore. I created these pillow sculptures/structures and went to the campus of Johns Hopkins one afternoon with one of the sculptures. I embedded a speaker in the sculpture and hid behind a wall with a microphone. I effectively caused the sculpture to talk and have conversations with visitors using my voice.
